I thought I would share piccies of all of my Boiga blandingii. I have two males and one female, all adults and settling in nicely into a new stack of of vivs. So hopefully I will be able to try breeding these sometime over the next few months. I am enjoying these so much that they may even become my favourites of the boiga family, taking over the nigriceps. All 3 are fairly feisty and to be honest the female is seriously aggressive at times, but I quite like this as they keep me on my toes. The males are around 5-6ft whilst the female is nearer 7-8ft long. They can reach lengths of up to 9 feet. Ive not measured any of them yet, so this is just a rough estimate. The female is probably the largest boiga that I have kept, although I have had cynodons this length but not the same girth. They are one of only two boiga species which originate from Africa and can be found in the tropical rainforests of central and Western Africa. Ive not named them yet but was thinking of naming the female lightning due to her speed. The female is the lightest one below, they are sexually dimorphic - the males being much darker/almost black in colour, whilst the females can vary quite a lot in their shades of brown/yellows and greys.
