I absolutely love these snakes and this specie!! I had a pair from Russia as well, but they died within a week. I'm always looking for them! I want them again, whenever I get the chance. Angi, still not going to Houten or Hamm later this year?

Hmm, that's too bad!!
I had a pair as well from Russia and the animals died after a couple of days. They're just very weak and maybe mouse tails is a kind of diet they can't handle/digest.

A quick update.
I now only have one left alive and a friend whom is a very experienced boiga keeper has also lost two out of his four from the same clutch. All died very suddenly and had appeared to be healthy. They had good appetites and were striking away at each feed. I might try feeding the remaining one a pinkie head on next feeding it to see how it copes with that. I'm going to chat to my friend as soon as I can to see if we can compare our methods of keeping and see if we can work out any clues as to why so many have died.
