They are beautful. Ever since I have kept snakes I have always disired this species. A bit of an obsession real.
What is the sub-species? At a guess I would suggest Melanota but I could so easily be wrong.
Also how may babies and how old?
Wil.

Stunning snakes, These are the reason i'll be getting my DWA sorted in 2007. Then i guess i'll have to get some others as well.

You're right, they are melanota. Adults are 7 years old,They breed since they are two years old. Most of the time, female lay 10 eggs,With 1 mating,a female can lay 4 clutch in one year.

Fantastic specimens you have there. I had no idea that they could lay four clutches in one year, do they breed every year or every other year??

Very nice animals, Dom. But are you sure it's not dendrophila instead of melanota?
My Boiga dendrophila gemmicincta laid four clutches last year as well. And that was just her first breeding year!
