Im sure we all do this differently, so thought it might make an interesting topic. Personally I have been using rainforest/orchid bark mainly as a substrate and spraying daily, but a couple of mine struggle with sloughing occassionally. So Im now moving over to a mix of damp coco fibre and rainforest bark. Im planning to add live plants into my vivs in the next 2 - 3 months ( after Ive moved house) to see if that helps at all.
Does anyone use a water conditioner?

Hi Angi,
I use small pieces of treebark as a substrate in most of my Boiga vivs. With the smaller ones I use paper towels. I don't spray daily. In some vivs I use live plants and the humidity is high for a much longer time, compared to the humidity in vivs were I use fake plants. So it definitely makes a difference!!
I just use the water that comes from the tap.

I swear by the coco bricks. They hold ground humidity well, they only need a light spray every couple of days then to maintain hydration. Iv'e done this for most snakes who require high humidity and works well.
