hello , i need help to find captive born boigas. i go to hamm show in september , anybody knows? Admin help me... im shure that captive born boigas not be more difficult than a amazon tree boa (i breed this specie) its a very bad thing only find captured animals .... i lost hope....

Hello Morgul,
captive born Boigas are indeed very hard to find. And when you do find some they're often expensive and not eating well (youngsters anyway). So forcefeeding and a lot of patience is certainly on the menu! I'm going to Hamm in September as well. If you´re lucky you can find some captive born Boigas there. I was there in march and there was not a single Boiga on the entire show! Very frustrating. Best is to reserve some animals for yourself and pick them up at the show. Then you´re certain you´re not going for nothing. Germans offer Boigas pretty often. Boiga dendrophila melanota most of the time. Good luck!

at the show at december 2006 there where 2 or 3 people offering CB B. dendrophila ssp.. they where all at 80-120€, but didn't eat on their own.

Hi there You could try the Houten show on the 10th JUne. It is still difficlt to find captive bred specimens, Im working hard o changing that.
