hi,
has anyone experience with WC B. jaspidae? perhaps i'll get an adult pair of them in two weeks, but haven't found any articels about them in captivity.

Hi Alexander, unfortunately I don't have any experience with them. Wish I had... But I know some people who had them. I heard of someone who forcefed his with small babymice. He said they did well, but I certainly don't recommend this! It's best to try to feed them live lizards. Hemidactylus frenatus for example. Keep them like all Boiga species. Warm, high humidity, etc. When you don't want them, send them over to me!  Chris |

hi,
iVe talked to J. Bulian an he told me that it's very difficult to get them to eat. they don't accept geckos and snakes, sometimes eat small rodents, but often has to be force fed.
he also told that they have to be kept more wet than every other boiga species, so i'llput them in e very wet viv with big water bowle, try feeding mice and hope they'll make it!
I'll get them at beginning of june an then show some pictures of these beauties!

Filip Longhitano from cologne has got a few of them, fresh WC.

Yes, I do know him, but I don't have very good experiences with him and his animals  Maybe I will contact him about this. I'm from the Netherlands, but I see him on shows here very often. Thanks |

i will be there!
i do sometimes trade some snakes with filip, of course WC are often not in a very good condition, but thats the same problem wherever you buy them.
but his CB hognose snakes are gorgeous...!
he will also be at houten.
whatever, i'm really excited about the jaspidae!
