Hello,
My name is Jonathan and I have had and been breeding for close to fifty years. When it was legal, I was breeding all kinds of Tree Vipers. Atheris, Trimerasurus, Tropidalemeis, Bioga and others. (please excuse any spelling errors). My favorite of course are Wagler's. Unofficially, I believe I was the first to breed Atheris nitchei in captivity. My interest was from a scientific perspective.
My primary interest presently are Rear Fanged Tree Vipers. Since, a large majority do not fall into the "dangerous" category. I use to own a Mexican Parrot Snake, Leptophis ahaetulla, this snake was fabulous. I regret selling him. For the last six years I have been keeping a GREEN/BLACK HEADED CAT EYED SNAKE, Boiga nigricepts. Long term captive, male about seven foot. Trying to find a female or a pair. This snake is fantastic with a great personality.
I hope to interact with others that share my passions in preserving these wonderful animals.
Thanks.
