Hey My names emily (surprise surprise!) and im looking into owning a Boiga Im an active member of RFUK and was pointed in this direction to seek out more information. I would love to keep Boiga dendrophila. I know that they should be treated with caution etc, even if they are just rear fanged. I have recently sourced a CB breeder whos got some males available so hopefully once getting my setup sorted I shall be getting one of these beauties! I currently own a royal, a boa and two corns. aswell as 5 (soon to be 7) R. Ciliatus and a bearded dragon Some of you may wince when you read this, but I am only 15! I absoloutely love the species though, and my parents are 100% aware of their capability but are supporting me as they know how much I love the animals. I have seen a few WC in reptile shops and I think they are stunning snakes. Theyve got to be the 100% top snake that I really want at the moment, and will hopefully be getting one for a christmas/birthday present from my parents! At the moment i am just researching researching and researching about them, even though I cant seem to find many really good caresheets! Anyway sorry for rattling on, off i go into the forums to dig out pictures and gawp! ;D emily

Hi Emily and welcome.
Good luck in your search and when you purchase your Dendro they are beautiful snakes as are all boiga. Some may wince at your age, but my view is, if you read up as much as you can ( I know there is not alot out there on Boiga) and are level headed there is no reason why you can't keep any snake. In my opinion there is no better education than first hand experience and if you are ready, your ready.
